Who We Are

At Signature Foundation Inc., our mission is rooted in compassion, hope, and the belief that every community deserves the chance to flourish. Through our FLAGSHIP PROGRAM—the Signatura Agrikultura Eco-Turismo Bamboo Paraiso Farm—we steward on Forestation, Food Security, Livelihood, Environment, and Green Space. Alongside this, our SIGNATURE PROGRAMS—SPARK Adventure, Signature Homes, International Studies, Gift Giving, Nutritional Feeding, Aid Medical, Training and Campaign, Uplift and Year-Up, Rehabilitation Initiative, and Education & Scholarship—represent our promise to stand beside individuals in their most challenging moments and to open doors to a better, brighter future.

History is what we make it. Leaders are not born; they are made. Bonded by strong faith, camaraderie and workmanship, our BOD had served our communities in pro bono services as their common heart and dedication, until that they have become pillars of the thriving Foundation. Tough times never last, but tough people do. Life is what we become. Born as a movement out of personal passion, then on the Blue Mountains of Sydney-Australia, these individuals were set to take-off as the Board of Directors of the Signature Foundation.

This thrust through the timeless test of time thrives on the pursuit of a deeply personal purpose and passion; such started in the 1980s. Destiny had its course in time when hearts were likewise in tuned with selfless love for service; all moved by the same life, principles and philosophy of the Pro Bono services who have shared their time and resources in the making of this humanitarian move.

Dr. Jahmeellah, PhD, DD, D Hum, U.S.A., a graduate of a leading private medical school in the country, gave up her ambition to be a medical doctor. In the pursuit of a noble call, she now serves as the SFI Founder. Dr. Joshua, PhD, DD, D Hum, U.S.A., Master of Management-New Zealand, once held a prestigious post as a professor and Doctor of Education, a state university outstanding scholar of merit, a patriot pillar of this movement, now the SFI Chief Executive Director. Together as a couple, they have crisscrossed continents for this cause–Asia, Australia, America, Africa, and Europe.

Dr. Daniel, PhD, DD, D Hum, U.S.A., a national topnotch social worker, gave up everything and joined the movement to trailblaze, now 15 years to full-time pro bono service, upholding a legacy of excellence. He now runs his own Heaven’s Heartbeat Migration Services in Australia, executes as the Foundation’s Executive Deputy Director for Administration.

Bernard Ian Sotelo, RN, Top 1 on the National Nursing Board, holds a Master of Science in Nursing-Australia. In brilliance of mind and expertise of skills, he has served as a nurse in Queensland for almost 20 years. 30 years with the movement in allegiant loyalty, now the SFI Executive Deputy Director for International Affairs.

Hon. Orly Amit, former Vice Mayor of Samal City and current Board Member of Davao del Norte, Chairman of Finance and Appropriation, a 30-year remarkable and exemplary public figure, a motivational speaker, now the SFI Executive Secretarial Director, a steadfast guardian of integrity and compassion.

Philantrophist Fely Collado, a social worker and former DSWD professional, a business magnate who registered this 30-year-pro bono-movement that started in the province of Cebu, to be the Signature Foundation in 2017. She now advocates as the Foundation Executive Financial Director; her genuine heart marks greatness.

Hon. Dr. Edwin Cruzado, a general surgeon and lifelong humanitarian, has spent over 25 years partnering with us. Once a number one provincial Board Member of North Cotabato and now a Congressman, serves as the Foundation Executive Director on Audit; embodying leadership in humility, living an honorable life.
